As part of Prescient International's commitment to strong community partnerships,
we are proud to be active supporters of both local and global community
programs:

Lung Association of Canada |
|
Each Spring the Lung Association holds it 'Breath of Hope'
relay at the Skydome in Toronto. Individual, corporate teams and
school teams take turns walking, running or strolling
on a track to remember those who have lost their battle or who are still
fighting lung cancer and lung disease. Funds raised support The Lung
Association's vital lung health programs: Asthma Action Helpline,
BreathWorks for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease (COPD), C.A.N. DO, The Movement for Clean Air Now, The
Youth Tobacco Team and tobacco cessation programs.
Prescient is a proud participant in this annual event.

Aga Khan Foundation Partnership Walk |
|
The Partnership Walk is Canada's largest
event in support of international cooperation. Held in 10 cities
across the country and now in its 18th year, the Walk raises money
and awareness for international development.
Now, more than ever, it is a crucial way to bring Canadians from all
walks of life together in partnership with those living in
poverty. All funds go directly to health,
education and rural development projects as well as to strengthen
local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Africa and Asia that
help poor people improve their lives and communities. The focus
is on smart solutions that address the root causes of poverty and
help disadvantaged people improve their lives and
communities.
Prescient has been an ongoing supporter of the Aga Khan
Foundation's various initiatives.

Learning Support Council of Canada |
|
The reSource project was developed by the Technology
Learning Alliance (TLA), an offshoot of the Learning Support
Council of Canada. The goal of TLA is to help provide computers
and connectivity for those who normally cannot afford these,
both in Canada and abroad. Prescient is working on a variety of
partnerships and strategic relationships that will allow us to
set up low-income computer ownership plans along with low-cost
Internet connectivity.
