Information Collection and Use top

Prescient International is the sole owner of the information collected at www.prescient.net. Prescient International collects information from web visitors through the use of log files and an Electronic Notification Service.

Log Files

Like most standard website servers we use log files. These log files capture information on visitors' viewing patterns and pages visited. By analyzing these patterns, we can service web visitors better by offering the type of information they want more efficiently. We do not collect any personally identifiable information through our log files that would identify an individual visitor.

Electronic Notification Service

We offer this service to provide visitors with timely information on Prescient International's products and services. Subscribers are required to enter their contact information in order to receive Emails from Prescient International. Subscribers have an "Opt Out" option that notifies us to remove the subscriber from our mailing list. The individual's information is permanently removed from our database.

Cookies and Clear Gifs

The Prescient International website does not require the use of cookies, nor does it use clear/transparent gifs.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.

Clear gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs) are a software technology sometimes used to manage content of websites by informing the provider what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users.

Prescient International is the sole collector of the information gathered on this website, for the uses outlined above. We do NOT share personal information collected from this website, with any other organizations.

User Choices top

This website collects information through the use of forms. Web viewers can request information through our Electronic Notification Service (ENS). Information gathered through these means is used only as identified in the collection process as required by law. Our subscribers have the choice to "Opt Out" of our mailing list, at any time, by following the steps to "unsubscribe" from the ENS.

Any information sent to Prescient International through the "Careers" or "Contact Us" links are sent over the Internet and Prescient International has no control over the security of this information while in transit.

We maintain a secure database of resumes from promising career candidates for a maximum period of 6 months. After that time, the candidates will be contacted to be asked if they would like to keep their resume on our file. If they are in agreement, Prescient International will keep the information for another 6 months. Any resumes we do not feel are suitable, are permanently deleted from the database.  Those career candidates who do not wish to have their resumes in our database any longer, can notify us, through Email, at any time.  These resumes will be permanently removed from our database.

Prescient International responds to those users who contact us with information requests through the "Contact Us" link on the website. Once the person is contacted, their Email is saved for a period of up to 3 months, in the event that follow-up information is to be sent out. After that time, any information is deleted.
